There are hundreds of offerings to choose from, but we’re going to review a shortlist of the recruiting conferences for 2020 that you don’t want to miss and why.

SHRM20 Annual Conference, rescheduled for June 2021
COVID-19 has caused the cancellation of SHRM20 in San Diego. Though we can’t convene in-person, SHRM is offering new programming just for you on this page monthly until SHRM21 on June 20-23rd in Chicago. All SHRM20 pass holders have a reserved spot at SHRM21!
Join SHRM on the second Tuesday of each month for fresh perspectives from leading experts, cultivated news you can use, and new programming focused on all things work. Some content is only available to SHRM21 registered attendees.
RecruitCon, Postponed until November 9-11, 2020, Florida

RecruitCon is designed for talent acquisition and management executives to help them discover and learn about new and emerging recruiting practices, while also offering access to new-tech, cutting-edge analytics, streamlining hiring as a process, and delivering data as a foundation for decision making. A wide range of topics is covered in sessions and on panels, from sourcing to interviewing to candidate experience and recruitment marketing.
This year’s conference features speakers from iCIMS, Deloitte Consulting, Target, Skill Scout, CultureFit, Google and The New York Times, among others. The learning and networking sessions offer ample opportunities to discuss key challenges and discover best practices through Q&A. If you’re recruiting technology talent, Talent42 is an opportunity for recruiters and leaders to build and strengthen relationships and learn what the most effective recruiting organizations are doing to be successful in today’s talent marketplace. It specifically focuses on the unique challenges of recruiting qualified developers and engineering talent. Attendees are typically tech-savvy recruiting professionals who are looking for the trends, tech, and strategies that will help them get the edge in recruiting top tech talent.

HR Tech Connect East, November 8-10, 2020, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

HR Tech Connect is an all-expenses paid experience for qualified HR and TA leaders that includes great panel discussion and live demos with HR technologies in a casual atmosphere without the stress of the expo hall. The unique invite-only structure of the event makes it stand out from other recruiting conferences.
The agenda is more business-intensive than any other event focusing on the HR tech landscape and the days are packed with private and group meetings, presentations, content sessions and networking. There is one track for the sessions, which means no wasted time figuring out which session to attend, and a greater opportunity to connect with other leaders in the recruiting space.
